How do I sign up for an online doctor visit?

This feature is only available for individuals in the Country of Mexico.

If you are present anywhere in Mexico, you can access an online doctor visit by visiting our website at https://www.TelemedMx.com.

How will I be charged for the medication?

Prescriptions are sent to the patient following the telemedicine consultation.  The patient can use the prescription at any physical pharmacy location of their choice and paid for at the pharmacy.

How will I be charged for medical consultations and services?

Prior to confirmation of appointment using our online booking service, payment can be made using Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

Any additional services, labwork, or medical imaging will be managed outside of TelemedMx.com.

I’m not sure if my condition fits the categories listed, what should I do?

If your issue is related to one of the visit types listed, select that visit type. You can discuss the specifics of your issue during the visit with a medical provider.

However, if you don’t see the condition that you are seeking treatment for, please contact us through our Contact Us page to discuss your options.

If this is an emergency, please visit call your local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital. 

Can I schedule a follow up appointment with the same doctor?

Yes, you can schedule appointments with specific doctors or use the same doctor in the future. Please contact us for further information.

I signed up for a visit, now what do I do?

You will receive an email notification about your visit status along with communications from clinical staff.

Can I reach out to the doctor again if I have questions?

Yes.  You can reach out to the doctor again if you have additional questions.  The doctor will provide their contact details at the time of appointment.

How long will it take to get my prescription?

After the visit is completed, the prescription will be sent to the patient immediately. 

Please take the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. 

How long does it take for a member of the medical team to review your submitted visit?

The medical team typically responds within 1 hours 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

I changed my mind and don’t need to see a doctor any longer, how do I cancel an appointment?

If you want to cancel a visit that has not been submitted yet, please use the Contact Us page to request the cancellation.

How long will it take for a provider to join a video chat?

Video chat wait times

It is common to be seen by a medical provider within 2 hours, though wait times can be longer nights (after 8 pm Cancun Time) and weekends. For more information about wait times, click here.

Your medical provider will send you a message when they are ready to see you.

What if I missed my video chat?

If you missed the video chat link, simply log back in and send a secure message letting the clinical team know that you are ready to chat. For help doing that, click here.
